Institute Profile

During the more than 50 years after founded, the Institute has finished more than 600 important projects of national ministry, more than 200 projects was rewarded by the nation and ministry including the highest level national award for science and technique progress. Among the more than 200 projects, 95 projects filled the gap between China and foreign countries. The scientific and technique achievements were used by more than 1000 enterprises from 28 provinces and cities, which contribute the technique progress of construction machinery industry in our country.

Tianjin Research Institute of Construction Machinery was awarded 3 times for the cultural and ideological progress, awarded by All-China Federation of Labor for providing employees with best activities in education, science, culture, health and sport. It was rated as a civilized company in machinery industry, awarded several times by Tianjin government and Sinomach for its best civilization and party committee. Several employees were honored with titles of model worker, model contributor, May Day Labor Medal and outstanding employees of national, city or Sinomach level. More than 30 employees were honored with Government Subsidy Experts.

Tianjin Research Institute of Construction Machinery has a post-doctorial study center, Tianjin Construction Machinery Transmission Technology Center, key laboratories for Tianjin construction machinery reproduction technology enterprises and construction machinery energy-saving technology. It is subordinate to Quality Supervision Inspection Center of Construction Machinery and Hydraulic Products, Productivity Promotion Center of Construction Machinery, National Earth-moving Machinery Standardization Committee, National Excavating Machinery Branch, Scraper Machinery Branch, Construction Machinery Accessory Branch of Construction Machinery Industry Association, Academic Committee and Cooperative Innovation Platform of High-end Hydraulic System Development and its Industrialization. The Institute was approved as national innovative enterprise, national model enterprise of using information-based manufacturing engineering, national “863” industrialization model base, national high-tech enterprise and national sample enterprise of electro-mechanical product reproduction. The Institute was certificated with State-level II enterprise in standardized safety production, quality control system, environmental protection system and occupational health and safety system.
